Mike Babcock Biography

Mike Babcock is one of the most successful coaches in professional hockey history. His record speaks for itself: he is the only coach ever to win an Olympic Gold Medal, a Stanley Cup, a World Championship Title, and a World Junior Championship. As a speaker, Babcock shares lessons on leadership, teamwork and determination like a only a coach of his caliber can. He is currently the head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Mike Babcock began his NHL coaching career with the Anaheim Ducks in 2002, leading them to the Stanley Cup Finals in his first season. In the 2007-2008 season, he led the Detroit Red Wings to a Stanley Cup championship. Babcock's success has also spilled over into the world of International Hockey. At the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics and 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, he coached the Canadian mens team to two Gold Medal victories.
