Dan Venezia Biography
Dan Venezia is a former professional baseball player from the Minnesota Twins Organization and a survivor of two near death experiences. Venezia lay in a hospital in New Jersey on Palm Sunday, 2020, with COVID-19 coursing through his body not knowing if he would ever leave that bed to see his wife and two teenaged sons again. Himself a fitness trainer, a coach and mentor to young athletes, as well as being a popular motivational speaker, he experienced weeks of needing others to offer him what he had provided professionally for years. Many years earlier, a car ride home with a friend resulted in a head on collision. Venezia experiences God’s hand on his life in a powerful way when he is miraculously saved from death and has several images of his future life flash before him.
The youngest of four children growing up in several of Brooklyn’s rougher neighborhoods, raised by a single parent mother who served as his first role model. He learned that hard work, mental toughness, and faith filled resiliency could empower one to overcome life’s greatest obstacles. Venezia’s faith in Christ has been strengthened by unique and powerful interventions God has made in his work, his family life, and his interactions with those less fortunate.
Venezia is the author of Surviving Covid-19 and has had the opportunity to share his story in many schools, churches, his community, and on local, national, and international radio and television programs. He has been a repeat guest on The Fox News Channel and The Sean Hannity Radio program.
