Alex Cheng is the vice president of Baidu responsible for the development of Baidu’s advertising platforms. Under his leadership since 2010, search advertising revenue has grown from $1 billion to over $5 billion through technology innovations in digital marketing and advanced AI in consumer intent prediction and insights. Alex has over 20 years of managerial and product development experience in Chinese and US high-tech companies. Prior to Baidu, he held senior engineering management roles at Google and Alibaba.

Alex Cheng is a Vice President at Baidu, Inc. and General Manager of Baidu USA. He leads Baidu’s online search advertising efforts and is responsible for the overall development and improvement of Baidu’s online search advertising platform. Under his leadership, the product development team has significantly improved Baidu’s ads monetization capabilities and helped grow search advertising revenue from $1 billion to more than $5 billion.
