Bill and Pam Farrel Biography

Bill and Pam Farrel are authors, international speakers, and relationship specialists with more than four decades of experience helping couples and families strengthen their connections. Bill holds a master's of divinity with an emphasis in practical theology and counseling, and has served as a lead pastor, youth pastor, and small groups pastor. Pam has served alongside Bill in ministry, first as a mentor and youth pastor's wife, and later as director of women's ministry. Together, they co-founded Love-Wise, an organization focused on providing practical insights for personal relationships by connecting love and wisdom.

The Farrels have authored 59 books, including "Men Are Like Waffles—Women Are Like Spaghetti," which has sold more than 350,000 copies and has been translated into 16 languages. The book's central metaphor—that men tend to compartmentalize their thoughts while women's thoughts flow together—has resonated with readers globally and inspired a DVD-based small-group curriculum. Their other works include "Red-Hot Monogamy," "The Marriage Code," and the "10 Best Decisions" series, which addresses topics for couples, singles, parents, graduates, leaders, men, and women.
