Timon Kyle Durrett is an actor, artist, and author from Chicago. Durrett attended Alcorn State University, where he participated in academics and played on the men's basketball team. After graduating cum laude, he relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting, developing his skills in the entertainment industry.
Durrett began his career with roles in independent productions before securing larger parts on television series such as "Girlfriends," "Eve," "CSI: NY," "Heroes," "The Ghost Whisperer," and "Castle." He made his stage debut in the national tour of Tyler Perry’s play "The Marriage Counselor" and later portrayed Quinn Davis in VH1's scripted series "Single Ladies."
Durrett has portrayed Davis West on the OWN series "Queen Sugar" and Luvell Burton on the ALLBLK series "Stuck With You." He also appeared in Kenya Barris’ reimagining of "Cheaper by the Dozen" for Disney+.
In addition to his acting career, Durrett is a published author and visual artist. He wrote the self-development book "Who the Hell Do I Think I Am?" and has released a series of visual art projects. Durrett is recognized for his commitment to character development and his contributions to television, film, and the arts.
