Taylor Ortega

Taylor Ortega is an actress, comedian, and writer known for her work in television, film, and digital media. Ortega is a graduate of Columbia University and developed her skills in New York City's improv scene, performing with groups such as Upright Citizens Brigade and the People's Improv Theater. She has described improv as one of the most effective comedic forms of expression due to its collaborative nature. Ortega was selected as a New Face at Just For Laughs, where NPR recognized her performance.

Ortega's screen credits include a role on the HBO drama "Succession" and the portrayal of Shego in Disney Channel's live-action "Kim Possible" television movie. Her television appearances also include "What We Do in the Shadows," "Ghosts," "Party Down," and "The Four Seasons." Ortega starred as Nadine Garcia-Parney in Paul Feig's Fox mockumentary sitcom "Welcome to Flatch," a role that drew on her improv background. She also appeared in Feig's comedy film "Jackpot!" and in the sequel "Another Simple Favor," playing an FBI agent.

Ortega co-starred in the Netflix crime-comedy series "Big Mistakes," created by Dan Levy and Rachel Sennott. In the series, she plays Morgan, a public school teacher who becomes involved in organized crime after a necklace theft. Ortega auditioned for the role while filming "Another Simple Favor" in Italy. "Big Mistakes" achieved significant viewership, ranking among Netflix's most-watched shows nationwide upon its premiere.
