Simone Ashley

Simone Ashley is a British actress of Indian Tamil heritage known for her work in television, film, and music. Trained at Arts Educational Schools in London, Ashley began her career with television appearances in series such as "Wolfblood," "Guilt," and the crime drama "Broadchurch." She gained wider recognition for her recurring role as Olivia Hanan in the Netflix comedy-drama "Sex Education."

Ashley achieved international prominence as the female lead in the Shondaland-produced Netflix period drama "Bridgerton," portraying Kate Sharma. Her performance contributed to the show's global popularity and earned her a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.
