Riley Green

Riley Green is an Alabama-born singer-songwriter known for his deep roots in traditional country music. Raised on the sounds of country, bluegrass, and southern gospel, Green developed his songwriting and performance skills at a young age while spending time with his grandfather, Bufford Green, who operated the Golden Saw Music Hall. Sharing the stage with his grandfather and other musicians of that generation laid the foundation for Green's approach to crafting songs.

While attending Jacksonville State University, Green played as a Division I FCS quarterback, demonstrating a competitive drive that would later influence his music career. At age 30, Green signed a record deal in Nashville, marking the beginning of his professional journey in the country music industry.

Green's debut album, "Different 'Round Here," released through BMLG Records, produced the gold-certified number one hit "There Was This Girl" and the gold-certified single "I Wish Grandpas Never Died." The latter track, co-written with his two grandfathers, received praise from People magazine. Luke Combs joined Green on his third No. 1 single, "Different 'Round Here (Ft. Luke Combs)," the title track of his debut album, which was re-recorded after strong fan response. Green has achieved four No. 1 hits on Billboard's Country Airplay chart, including "Worst Way" and the Ella Langley collaboration "You Look Like You Love Me." The duet with Langley won Musical Event of the Year at the CMA Awards and received multiple CMA Award nominations.

Green's third studio album, "Don't Mind If I Do," produced by Dann Huff, continued to showcase his signature neotraditional country sound. The album earned several ACM Award nominations, including Male Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for "Don't Mind If I Do (Deluxe)," Music Event of the Year with Ella Langley, and Artist-Songwriter of the Year. Green has toured extensively, serving as direct support for Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs, performing for large audiences, and headlining a sold-out show at Bridgestone Arena. He was also awarded an honorary doctorate from Jacksonville State University for his contributions to the music industry and the Jacksonville community.

Expanding his presence in entertainment, Green made his acting debut in a four-episode arc on the CBS series "Marshals." He later joined "The Voice" as a coach for Season 30, appearing alongside Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine on the NBC singing competition. Green continues to build his career across country music, live performance, and television, recognized for his authentic storytelling and neotraditional sound.
