Patrick Roy

Patrick Roy is recognized as one of the most influential goaltenders in NHL history, known for introducing the butterfly style that became the global standard for the position. Named among the 100 Greatest NHL Players, Roy won multiple Stanley Cup championships with the Montreal Canadiens and Colorado Avalanche, earning Conn Smythe Trophies as playoff MVP and Vezina Trophies as the league's top goaltender.
