Orlando Bloom

Orlando Bloom is an English actor known for his work in fantasy films, action movies, and stage productions. A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, Bloom's career has been shaped by classical theatrical training and personal resilience. While still a student, he experienced a serious back injury from a fall, requiring intensive surgery and therapy. His recovery influenced his approach to acting and physical roles.

Bloom's breakthrough occurred shortly after graduating from Guildhall, when he was cast as Legolas in Peter Jackson's epic "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy. The role brought him international recognition, and the cast received the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Ensemble Acting for "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King." He also received the Breakthrough Male honor at the MTV Movie Awards and a Best Debut award at the Empire Awards. Bloom reprised the role of Legolas in "The Hobbit" film series. He also appeared in Ridley Scott's war film "Black Hawk Down," portraying a soldier with a back injury.
