Taalib Johnson, known professionally as Musiq Soulchild, is a singer and songwriter recognized for blending R&B, soul, and hip-hop influences. His discography also includes albums such as "Victims and Villains," "Soulstar," and "Luvanmusiq."
Johnson has received multiple nominations, including 13 Grammy Awards, five BET Awards—winning one for Best Male R&B Artist—and an ASCAP Award. His career includes guest appearances as himself on the UPN sitcom "Half and Half" and The CW comedy "The Game."
