Mia Goth's journey into the world of acting began with her role in the film "Nymphomaniac". Her performances in "A Cure For Wellness," "High Life," "Suspiria," and "Emma" cemented her position in the industry. However, it was her roles as Maxine Minx and Pearl in the "X" film series that carved out her niche in the horror genre. Goth's portrayal of both the protagonist Maxine Minx and the antagonist Pearl in "X" received critical acclaim, leading to her co-writing and starring in the prequel "Pearl" which also received positive reviews. This performance led to a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Lead Performance. She reprised her role as Maxine Minx in "MaXXXine".

Prior to her acting career, Goth was discovered at the age of 16 and embarked on a successful modeling career. She graced the campaigns of Miu Miu and Prada, and featured in Vogue and Glamour magazines. In 2023, she made her runway debut opening the Miu Miu F/W 23 Show. However, she continued to pursue her passion for acting, starring in Brandon Cronenberg's body horror "Infinity Pool," which premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. She also starred in Guillermo del Toro's horror film "Frankenstein" as Elizabeth Harlander. She is set to appear in Christopher Nolan's highly-anticipated "The Odyssey" in 2026.

Goth's talents saw her cast in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film "Blade" as Lilith and in Shawn Levy's "Star Wars: Starfighter" as the main antagonist. Her exceptional performance in "Pearl" won her the Critics' Choice Super Awards in 2023 for Best Actress in a Horror Movie and Best Villain in a Movie, as well as the Sitges Film Festival Award for Best Actress.
