Marc Anthony is a Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, actor, and producer widely regarded as one of the most influential Latin music artists of all time. Born Marco Antonio Muñiz in New York City to Puerto Rican parents, Anthony grew up immersed in Latin music and began his career as a session vocalist in the late 1980s before emerging as a leading voice in salsa and Latin pop.

He rose to international prominence in the 1990s with Spanish-language albums such as Otra Nota and Contra la Corriente, helping to bring salsa to a global mainstream audience. With powerful vocals and emotionally charged performances, Anthony became the top-selling salsa artist in history. He successfully crossed over into English-language pop with hits like “I Need to Know” and “You Sang to Me.”

Over the course of his career, Anthony has earned multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards and has sold tens of millions of records globally. Known for his electrifying live performances, he has headlined major tours across the Americas and Europe.
