Leo Terrell

Leo Terrell is a civil rights attorney, talk radio host, and public commentator whose career spans the courtroom, broadcast media, and public policy. Terrell graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills with a Bachelor of Arts in political science, earned a Master of Education from Pepperdine University, and holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. Before practicing law, Terrell taught high school history, geography, and economics. As a member of the California Bar, he has held leadership roles with organizations such as the Black-Korean Alliance, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and California's Statewide Commission Against Hate Crimes.

Terrell has contributed pro-bono legal work and served as a member of the NAACP. He has provided legal and political commentary on television and radio programs including "Nightline," "Larry King Live," "Hannity & Colmes," "The O'Reilly Factor," "Today," and "Good Morning America." Terrell served as a legal commentator during the O.J. Simpson civil trial. He is the author of "Your Rights at the Workplace: The Things Your Boss Won't Tell You," a guide to employee rights. With former Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Burton Katz, Terrell co-hosted the weekday talk show "Terrell & Katz," a point-counterpoint program.

Terrell publicly shifted his political affiliation after declaring support for President Donald Trump, marking a notable change in his media profile. He has contributed to FOX News Media as a commentator and analyst across FOX News Channel and FOX Business Network. Terrell also hosted the Cumulus Media podcast, "Leo Terrell: America's Fair Minded Civil Rights Attorney."

Terrell was appointed Chair of the Department of Justice Federal Task Force to Combat Antisemitism, leading a national awareness and action tour and chairing the DOJ's Anti-Semitism Advisory Committee. He received Israel's annual Beacon of Truth Award for his work combating antisemitism. Terrell is recognized for his advocacy on civil rights, legal analysis, and commentary on American politics and social issues.
