Jiang Xueqin

Jiang Xueqin is a Chinese-Canadian educator, writer, and geopolitical commentator known for his work in education reform and viral geopolitical analysis. A graduate of Yale College with a degree in English literature, he has worked as a journalist, documentary filmmaker, and United Nations official. His writing has appeared in publications including The New York Times, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, and The Chronicle of Higher Education.

Jiang played a prominent role in Chinese education reform, building and leading study abroad programs at Shenzhen Middle School and Peking University High School with a focus on creativity, critical thinking, and global citizenship. He has also served as a researcher with the Global Education Innovation Initiative at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and a member of the selection committee for the Global Teacher Prize. He is the author of Creative China, which chronicles his education reform efforts.

He later launched the YouTube channel Predictive History, originally created to record lectures for his students at Moonshot Academy. Using structural historical analysis, game theory, and ideas inspired by Isaac Asimov’s concept of psychohistory, Jiang built an online following through bold geopolitical forecasts on topics ranging from U.S. elections to global conflicts.

His episode “The Iran Trap” drew international attention for predicting both the re-election of Donald Trump and escalating U.S. involvement in Iran. Following the channel’s rise in popularity, Jiang appeared on programs including "Piers Morgan Uncensored" and "The Tucker Carlson Show." Dubbed “China’s Nostradamus” by some observers, Jiang has attracted both praise for his early, memorable predictions and criticism from skeptics who question aspects of his methodology and conclusions.
