Jesse Keith Whitley

Jesse Keith Whitley is a country music singer and songwriter known for blending traditional country, Southern rock, and contemporary influences. The son of Lorrie Morgan and the late Keith Whitley, and grandson of Grand Ole Opry member George Morgan, Whitley grew up immersed in the country music industry, spending time backstage at the Grand Ole Opry and on tour with his mother. Drawing from this background, he developed his own approach to songwriting and live performance.

Whitley launched his recording career with the EP "Kentucky Thunder," produced by James Stroud. The project features the title track, a cover of Keith Whitley's "Don't Close Your Eyes" with backing vocals from Lorrie Morgan, and "Can't Drive You From My Mind," co-written with Jon Randall. The EP was introduced with a performance at Nashville's Hard Rock Café.

Throughout his career, Whitley has performed at major country music events, including the Country Music Festival Jamboree in the Hills, and has shared the stage with artists such as Andy Griggs, Mark Chesnutt, Sammy Kershaw, John Michael Montgomery, Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts, and the Eli Young Band. His live shows feature a mix of classic country, modern country, Southern rock, and original material, appealing to a wide range of country music fans.

Whitley has honored his father's legacy through music, including the self-released single "Try to Change My Ways," dedicated to Keith Whitley. He has also represented his father at public events, such as accepting an induction honor into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and performing "Miami, My Amy."

Building on the influence of country music legends, Whitley continues to develop his own style as a singer and songwriter. He incorporates lessons from his family while establishing his own presence in the country music industry.
