Jennifer Azzi

Jennifer Azzi's journey in the world of basketball began at Stanford, where she played collegiate basketball and led her team to win the NCAA national championship in 1990. She continued her career in professional basketball from 1990 to 2003, with five influential seasons in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Azzi's prowess on the court earned her several accolades, including being named to the Kodak All-America First Team in 1989 and 1990, and being the recipient of the Wade Trophy and Naismith Award in 1990. Her outstanding performance was recognized in 2009 when she was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame.

After her successful playing career, Azzi transitioned into coaching, leading the University of San Francisco women's basketball team from 2010 to 2016. Notably, she led the Dons to a 70-68 victory over the BYU Cougars in the WCC tournament championship game in 2016, earning an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. In addition to coaching, Azzi also served on the Board of Directors of USA Basketball from 2005 to 2008, and led Azzi Academy, a youth basketball program at Tamalpais High School, between 2010 and 2021.

In her post-coaching career, Azzi held several esteemed positions in the business and development sector of sports. She served as an associate vice president of development at the University of San Francisco and academy global director at the National Basketball Association between 2017 and 2021. Moreover, she also served as a Golden State Warriors analyst at NBC Sports for two years, beginning in 2019. Her latest role was as the chief business development officer for the Las Vegas Aces from 2021 to 2025, further solidifying her influence and leadership within the basketball community.
