Hayley Williams

Hayley Nichole Williams is a singer-songwriter, and musician, best known as the lead vocalist, primary songwriter, and occasional keyboardist of the rock band Paramore.

In 2004, she formed Paramore alongside Josh Farro, Zac Farro, and Jeremy Davis. Today, the band consists of Williams, Zac Farro, and Taylor York, and has released six studio albums: All We Know Is Falling (2005), Riot! (2007), Brand New Eyes (2009), Paramore (2013), After Laughter (2017), and This Is Why (2023). Known for her powerful voice and introspective lyrics, Williams has helped define a generation of alternative rock and pop-punk music.

Outside of Paramore, Williams has collaborated with numerous artists, including October Fall, The Chariot, Set Your Goals, and New Found Glory. She gained mainstream recognition for her feature on B.o.B’s single “Airplanes” (2010), which reached number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals, alongside the sequel “Airplanes, Part II” featuring Eminem. These collaborations helped expand her audience and cemented her reputation as a versatile and influential vocalist.

In addition to music, Williams has explored media and entrepreneurship. She launched the online beauty and music series “Kiss-Off” in 2015 and co-founded the hair dye company Good Dye Young in 2016, which has become a major platform for her creative expression and brand. More recently, she has focused on her solo career, releasing a collection of songs that culminated in her third studio album, “Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party” (2025), an independent release celebrated for its emotional depth and stylistic diversity. Singles like “Parachute” from the album earned critical acclaim and a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Performance.

Williams has also become an advocate for safe, inclusive spaces in music. Ahead of her first solo tour, “Good Dye Young Presents: Hayley Williams at a Bachelorette Party” (2026), she emphasized that her shows are free from racism, sexism, and transphobia, reflecting her commitment to social justice and LGBTQ+ rights. As she continues to balance her work with Paramore, her solo projects, and her entrepreneurial endeavors, Williams remains one of the most influential and innovative voices in modern rock music.
