Erin Moriarty

Erin Moriarty gained recognition through her portrayal of Annie January / Starlight in the series "The Boys" (2019–present). Her performance in this role led to a nomination for the Saturn Award for Best Actress in a Streaming Television Series. She also lent her voice to the same character in the 2023 video game "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II." In addition to her work in "The Boys", Moriarty played the role of Hope Shlottman in the first season of "Jessica Jones," released in November 2015.

Throughout her career, Moriarty has showcased her diverse talents, not only in acting but also in music. She provided vocals for the original song "Never Truly Vanish" featured in the second season of "The Boys," which was included in the series' second season soundtrack. Beyond her television work, she has also made a mark in the film industry. She was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for her role in "Captain Fantastic." Furthermore, she was featured in the 2024 neo-noir thriller "Lips Like Sugar" alongside Juliette Lewis, Sasha Calle, Kathryn Newton, Woody Harrelson, and Owen Wilson.

Off-screen, Moriarty has addressed important societal issues. She has publicly responded to misogynistic trolling and criticism regarding her role on "The Boys," becoming a voice against cyberbullying.
