Eileen Gu

Eileen Gu, a Chinese-American freestyle skier and model, has made a name for herself in the world of sports, breaking records and setting new ones. She represented China in halfpipe, slopestyle, and big air events since the 2018–19 season, becoming the most decorated freestyle skier in Olympic history by the 2026 Winter Olympics. At the young age of 18, she became the youngest Olympic champion in freestyle skiing during the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, where she won gold medals in big air and halfpipe and a silver medal in slopestyle. Gu continued her triumphant streak at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, where she won gold in women's halfpipe and two additional silver medals in big air and slopestyle.

Gu's accomplishments extend beyond the ski slopes. She was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world under the Pioneers category by Time magazine in 2022 and was featured on the cover of the magazine's February 9, 2026 edition. In 2025, Gu was the fourth-highest earning female athlete in the world. Her prowess in freestyle skiing is also evident in her trailblazing performance in 2021, where she became the first woman to land a forward double cork 1440 in competition history. Among her coaches were Jamie Melton, head coach of the Chinese National Slopestyle and Big Air Training Team for the 2022 Winter Olympics, and Brad Prosser, who became the technical coach guide to the Chinese national team for the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Modeling is another area where Gu shines. She is represented by IMG Models and has graced the covers of several high-profile magazines such as the Chinese editions of Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Cosmopolitan, GQ, Marie Claire, V, L'Officiel, and Vogue. She has also been featured in campaigns for Western luxury brands including Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. and is a brand ambassador for IWC Schaffhausen and TCL Electronics.
