Brennley Brown is a country-Christian singer-songwriter and voice actress whose talent emerged at a young age. By age five, she played her first talent show, and at seven, she turned professional, focusing on musical theater. At nine, Brown performed as a guest soloist at the U.S. Open held at Arthur Ashe Stadium, an honor she repeated for three consecutive years.
By age 11, Brown was part of an Ovation Award-winning production of "Parade" and began writing original songs inspired by her passion for country music. At 13, she self-produced and organized a sold-out concert to raise funds for a trip to Nashville, where she performed live on Big Machine's radio show, becoming the youngest person to receive such an invitation.
Brown's personal experiences have influenced her artistry. Music served as a source of comfort while she navigated her mother's battle with Cardiac Lyme Disease, and the hope and healing she found during that time shaped her commitment to sharing authentic stories through her music. Brown gained national attention on the twelfth season of "The Voice" as a member of Team Blake Shelton and Team Gwen Stefani, where she succeeded as a finalist and became the show's youngest, highest-charting artist to date. She was the first contestant of the season to receive an iTunes multiplier, achieving this in the Top 12 with her performance of Linda Ronstadt's "Long Long Time." Brown advanced each week until her elimination in the top four instant save round.
In addition to her music career, Brown has established herself in voice acting. She voiced the main character Leyla for six seasons on "DreamWorks Dragons: Rescue Riders," a spinoff of the "How to Train Your Dragon" film franchise. She also held lead roles in the Emmy Award-winning Disney/DreamWorks animated features "Dragons: Rescue Riders" and "Tangled: The Series." On the music side, Brown released a debut single produced by Blake Shelton, followed by a live album titled "The Balcony Sessions: Live from Alabama Street," inspired by performances on her home's balcony for socially distanced audiences. Grammy Award-winning music producer Luke Wooten produced the eight-track album.
Brown has established herself as a voice in country-Christian music. She relocated to Nashville and signed with Sony Music's Provident Label Group, marking a shift toward Christian country. Brown released the single "Miracle Story" through Provident Entertainment/Sony Music, produced by Grammy Award winner Luke Wooten. She has opened for artists such as Tim McGraw, Dwight Yoakam, Hayley Orrantia, and Keith Anderson, and has performed at faith festivals including Harvest America and Harvest SoCal. Brown made her Grand Ole Opry debut, solidifying her presence in the country music scene, and continued to build her profile with the release of the single "Sanctuary" while maintaining an active touring schedule, including appearances on the "If I Got Jesus" tour alongside Ben Fuller. Guitar Girl Magazine notes that Brown has accomplished more than some twice her age, continuing to engage audiences with her blend of classic country storytelling and faith-based music.
