Billy Bush

Billy Bush is a radio and television host known for his work in entertainment journalism. Bush began his career hosting the afternoon drive show on WLKZ-FM in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, before moving to Washington, D.C., where he hosted the midday show on WARW-FM. He received the Washington Air Award for emerging talent during his time in the capital. Bush joined "Access Hollywood," a daily entertainment news magazine, as East Coast correspondent and was later promoted to co-anchor.

During his tenure at "Access Hollywood," Bush covered major entertainment industry events, including the Golden Globes, Grammys, and Academy Awards. He hosted ABC's live pre-show for the Academy Awards and the Emmy Red Carpet Special. Bush also reported for NBC at the Summer Olympics in Athens and hosted "Access Hollywood" coverage of the Winter Olympics in Torino and the Summer Olympics in Beijing. Concurrently, he hosted "The Billy Bush Show," a nationally syndicated talk and music radio program. Bush made on-screen appearances in the film "Furry Vengeance" and voiced a newscaster in the Disney animated film "Big Hero 6."

After leaving "Access Hollywood," Bush became a co-host in the third hour of "Today." His time on the show ended following the release of a 2005 recording involving Donald Trump, after which Bush was dismissed from "Today." He spent several years away from television before returning as host of "Extra," the syndicated entertainment news series. "Extra," an Emmy Award-winning program, named Bush as host for its 26th season. While at "Extra," Bush reported from London following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and covered the L.A. fires from the field.

Bush later announced his departure from "Extra" on his "Hot Mics" podcast, stating his intention to expand the "Hot Mics" digital platform. "Hot Mics with Billy Bush" is a digital show that covers sports, politics, entertainment, technology, and pop culture. Bush joined Fox News as a contributor, providing cultural analysis on the network's shows. He also appeared on "The Masked Singer" as a wild card contestant known as Sir Lion.
