The team would also be the cornerstone for Dodge's return to Winston Cup racing in 2001. Currently, Evernham Motorsports fields two full-time cars: the #9 driven by Kasey Kahne and the #19 driven by Jeremy Mayfield, along with the #91 driven by Bill Elliott on a part-time basis. On July 1, 2005, Evernham announced that he will field a third full-time car in 2006 with the #10 and Valvoline as both part-owner of the car and as the primary sponsor for 22 races. Scott Riggs was announced as the driver of the car on August 27, 2005.
