After that simple post, an unexpected chain of events led me to 2 years of research uncovering a hidden gender bias in AI, affecting billions of women. In this talk, I walk the audience through the story of my research, from inception to publication in The Guardian, Cosmopolitan, TV channels, and publications worldwide. The speech ends on a positive note, encouraging everyone to take action and build a more inclusive AI altogether.
