Janeane Bernstein is an international speaker, educator, author, and mental health advocate. Her first book, "Get the Funk Out! ^&*% Happens, What to Do Next!" about creating resilience and strength through life’s curveballs was published by Post Hill Press, and distributed by Simon & Schuster. Bernstein speaks to students and adults about finding resilience in challenging times, making mental, physical, and emotional health a priority, and the power of pivoting and mentorship.
In May 2020, Bernstein launched a new online mental health & wellness series for Gen Z series called "Outside The Box". She hosts workshops and engaging panels for students and adults about the power of creativity for mental health, resiliency, the REAL keys to success, and why peer-to-peer initiatives are a powerful way to connect and prioritize mental health and wellbeing. In response to the millions of people out of work, she features industry experts offering advice on how to find work remotely or pivot to a new venture. This also includes a mentoring series for high school and college students to make meaningful connections, receive guidance on finding opportunities, and to increase positivity and improve mental health. Bernstein's next book "Better Humans - What the Mental Health Pandemic Teaches Us About Humanity" addresses the fact that when a global pandemic exacerbated a pre-existing mental health crisis, we were left with a mental health pandemic, in turn opening a Pandora’s box that revealed what was long denied – we MUST prioritize mental health in all aspects of society, eliminate disparities and stigma, and become better humans.
