Maryellis Bunn is the Founder & Creative Director of 1and8 Inc & Museum of Ice Cream. Since launching her brand in 2016, Maryellis has grown Museum of Ice Cream from a small temporary installation in New York City into a nationwide sensation with 4 locations and-counting, and over a million visitors from around the world. As an entrepreneur and creative director, Maryellis specializes in designing and constructing socially-squared spaces, created to provoke inspiration, foster community and celebrate the power of imagination.

A graduate of both NYU and the Parsons School of Design, Maryellis holds a dual degree in business and design. Before Museum of Ice Cream, Maryellis was the Head of Innovation at Time Inc. and was a creative consultant and design strategist for Facebook, Instagram, Staples and many more. In 2017, Bunn was awarded Forbes 30 Under 30 and voted Ad Age’s 50 most influential creative figures and in 2018, Museum of Ice Cream was awarded Fast Company’s Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Live Events.
