Greg Coleman Biography

Greg Coleman, currently President of Buzzfeed, is a seasoned executive with nearly 25 years of media experience and expertise in online marketing and data analytics. The former President of Criteo, the president and Chief Revenue Officer at the Huffington Post and the EVP of global sales at Yahoo, he has held executive positions and caused explosive sales growth for several of the world’s most influential technology and media companies. As the President and Chief Revenue Officer of The Huffington Post, he built a $30 million ad business in one year. As EVP global sales at Yahoo, he assembled a pre-eminent sales team that grew ad revenues from $600 million to more than $6 billion.

As President of Criteo, Coleman oversees global operations and leads the U.S. expansion of the company, whose platform for delivering personally relevant ads to Internet users has enabled the largest e-commerce marketers to post significant incremental sales for the past three years. His work at Criteo and previous companies has led to him being credited with creating “the model for selling social marketing.”

Previously, Coleman served as President of AOL’s Platform-A , and was Senior Vice President of Reader’s Digest Association and President of U.S. Magazine Publishing, where he revolutionized advertising, and is credited with bringing in 25% of the corporate profit during his time there. Coleman also worked at CBS, Inc., where he spent 10 years leading advertising efforts for Woman’s Day as the company’s Vice President and National Sales Manager.

He has been featured in publications such as Wall Street Journal’s All Things D blog, adExchanger, Silicon Valley Business Journal and Ad Age, and has spoken at conferences such as IAB’s the Future of Display, the Conversational Marketing Summit, Open X Publisher Forum, and Advertising Week’s Social Club.
