Bruno Bertelli Biography
Born in Verona, after earning a degree in Semiotics, Bruno began his career as a copywriter in New York after attending the School of Visual Arts. In January 2011, he joined Publicis Italy as Executive Creative Director together with Cristiana Boccassini, and in 2013 they were appointed Global Creative Directors Publicis WW on Heineken and members of the International Creative Board. In May 2016 he was nominated to be Global CCO Publicis Worldwide, maintaining the role as CEO of Publicis Italy. Bruno joined as ECD Publicis Italy (2011) with creative partner Cristiana Boccassini. His remit has grown to CEO Publicis Italy, ECD Publicis W.Europe, and most recently Global CCO of Publicis WW (2016) representing the global creative board and clients including Renault, Nestlé and Heineken. Bruno judges and speaks at festivals including Eurobest, Cannes and NY Festivals; is President of OOH Cannes 2017; and with Boccassini, is the most awarded Italian creative globally (awards include 41 Cannes Lions). Born in Verona, Bruno graduated in Semiotics and attended the school of Visual Arts. His career started in New York as a copywriter.
