Prior to joining Redpoint, Alex was in the Technology, Media, and Telecom investment-banking division of Goldman Sachs, where he focused on SaaS, Internet, and semiconductor companies. He advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, equity financings, and LBO transactions. At Goldman Sachs, Alex worked with Intuit, Yelp, Marin Software, Gigamon, SanDisk, and others.
Alex earned a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University. Prior to Stanford, Alex played on the ATP Tour, competing in the U.S. Open and other ATP events. He was also a hitting partner for the Davis Cup Team. At Stanford, Alex was a 3-time captain and played #1 singles and doubles and was ranked as high as #2 in the nation.
