William McDowell Biography
Pastor William McDowell is a Grammy-nominated, Dove and Stellar Award-winning worship leader, singer-songwriter, and the lead pastor of Deeper Fellowship Church in Orlando, Florida. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, McDowell began his music career in 2009 with the release of As We Worship. His subsequent albums, including Arise, the Grammy-nominated Withholding Nothing, and Sounds of Revival, have all charted on Billboard and garnered critical acclaim.
McDowell moved to Orlando in his twenties to attend Full Sail University, where he earned a degree in Entertainment Business. He was mentored by renowned worship leader Ron Kenoly and later served as Worship Pastor at The Gathering Place Church under Sam Hinn.
At Deeper Fellowship Church, McDowell is committed to cultivating a deeper relationship with God and fostering a community centered on revival and spiritual growth. Since its founding, the church has witnessed numerous reports of physical healings and spiritual breakthroughs, which McDowell documents in his book "It’s Happening: A Generation Is Crying Out and Heaven Is Responding."
Beyond his pastoral and musical endeavors, McDowell maintains an active online presence, sharing sermons and teachings through various platforms.
