Tunde Oyeneyin

Tunde Oyeneyin is a New York Times bestselling author, motivational speaker, and cycling instructor with Peloton. A Texas native of Nigerian descent, Oyeneyin began her career as a professional makeup artist and brand educator for major beauty brands. She transitioned to fitness after overcoming personal challenges related to body image and self-esteem, ultimately leaving a 15-year career in the beauty industry to pursue cycling instruction full time. After starting as a cycling instructor in Los Angeles, Oyeneyin joined Peloton's instructor team.

Oyeneyin is known for her motivational approach to fitness, encouraging riders to push themselves both physically and mentally. She has participated in collaborations such as Shonda Rhimes' Year of Yes themed Peloton classes. Oyeneyin launched the Instagram Live series SPEAK, which features stories of resilience and includes guests such as Venus Williams, Common, Cynthia Erivo, Mel Robbins, and Allyson Felix.

Oyeneyin is the author of the memoir-manifesto-guide "Speak: Find Your Voice, Trust Your Gut, and Get From Where You Are to Where You Want To Be." The book explores how she transformed adversity into growth and self-confidence, and it became a New York Times bestseller. "Speak" was also recognized among Audible's Best Books in the Well-Being category. The book is inspired by her SPEAK acronym: Surrender, Power, Empathy, Authenticity, Knowledge. Oyeneyin received the Award for Creative Person of the Year from the Society for Africans in Diaspora.

Oyeneyin has served as a face of Revlon cosmetics and as a Nike Athlete, and has been named to InStyle's The Badass 50 list. Her work has been featured in Today, Good Morning America, The New York Times, Vanity Fair, and Vogue. Oyeneyin joined the cast of Tyler Perry's "Sistas" as a series regular and made her scripted acting debut on Hulu's "Life & Beth." She won the Sports Illustrated Swim Search contest, earning a spot in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and being named the first SI Rookie for the following year. Oyeneyin continues to be recognized as a prominent voice in fitness, wellness, and popular culture.
