Shameik Moore

Shameik Moore is an American actor and musician known for his work in film, television, and music. Moore began his career at a young age, releasing dance and choreography videos on YouTube and appearing as a dancer in music videos. He made his big screen debut in "Joyful Noise," appearing alongside Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton.

Moore gained recognition for his lead role in the independent film "Dope," where he portrayed Malcolm. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and earned Moore a place on IndieWire's list of major breakout performers. He also contributed several tracks to the film's soundtrack, collaborating with Grammy Award winner Pharrell Williams. Moore later starred in Baz Luhrmann's series "The Get Down," a drama centered on the rise of hip hop in the Bronx during the late 1970s.

Moore is widely recognized for voicing Miles Morales in Sony Pictures Animation's "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse." The film achieved significant box office success and cultural impact. Moore received a Black Reel Award for Outstanding Voice Performance and an OFTA Film Award for Best Voice-Over Performance for his work. He reprised the role in "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" and is slated to return for "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse."

In addition to his work in animation, Moore starred in the RZA-directed heist film "Cut Throat City," alongside Wesley Snipes, Ethan Hawke, and Terrence Howard. He also portrayed Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan in Hulu's "Wu-Tang: An American Saga." As a recording artist, Moore released the album "30058" and multiple singles, including "Break the Locks" with The Get Down Brothers.
