Rodarius Marcel Green, known professionally as Rod Wave, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter who has been making waves in the music industry since his career took off in 2015. Starting with the release of his first tracks, "Rookie of the Year" and the three-part "Hunger Games" mixtape, Wave quickly gained attention for his unique blend of soulful lyrics and genre-mixing style.

By 2019, he had signed with Alamo Records and his single "Heart on Ice" was going viral on YouTube and TikTok, peaking at number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. In addition to his success on the charts, Wave has also been recognized by the music industry with nominations for an American Music Award, a Billboard Music Award, and an iHeartRadio Music Award. He has headlined multiple tours, including the Ghetto Gospel Tour, the Beautiful Mind Tour, and the Nostalgia Tour, showcasing his dynamic performances and his ability to engage with audiences.
