Robyn Grew

Robyn Grew is the Chief Executive Officer of Man Group, a global alternative investment management firm. Grew joined Man Group in 2010 via the acquisition of GLG and has held various senior roles within the organization, including Group Chief Operating Officer, Head of ESG, General Counsel, and President. Before her tenure at Man Group, she held senior global positions at Barclays Capital, Lehman Brothers, and the ICE Futures Europe exchange, amassing a wealth of experience in the investment industry since 1994.

In her role as CEO, Grew leads the firm’s Executive Committee and holds a position as an executive director on the Man Group Board. Her strategic priorities center around expanding and enhancing the firm’s investment content, driving technology-enabled client solutions, and building the firm’s distribution capabilities. Under her leadership, Man Group underwent a corporate reorganization in 2019, which she led. Additionally, she was instrumental in the development of the firm's diversity program, further solidifying her influence within the organization.

Grew has made significant contributions to the industry beyond her roles in Man Group. As a qualified barrister and a member of the Standards Board for Alternative Investment (SBAI) Board of Trustees, she lends her expertise to help shape industry standards. She also contributed to the Man Institute, including a podcast episode titled "Liquidity Matters: Katie Martin, Financial Times" in July 2023. In May 2023, she made history by becoming the first female CEO of Man Group, marking a significant milestone in her career and the global hedge fund industry.
