Rich Kleiman

Rich Kleiman is an American entrepreneur, talent manager, and media executive known for his work at the intersection of sports business, entertainment, and venture capital. Kleiman began his career at Radical Media, serving as a music supervisor and producer on projects including Jay-Z's documentary "Fade to Black." He later joined Roc Nation, managing artists such as Wale, Meek Mill, DJ Nice, and Solange. Kleiman also co-owned a record label with Mark Ronson, gaining experience in music trends, cross-industry opportunities, and brand marketing.

Kleiman played a key role in launching Roc Nation Sports, where he served as vice president and worked with athletes including Victor Cruz, CC Sabathia, Skylar Diggins-Smith, and Robinson Canó. During this period, Kleiman met Kevin Durant and eventually became Durant's agent and manager.

Together, Kleiman and Durant founded Boardroom, a sports business media network, and 35V (Thirty Five Ventures), Durant's family office and personal deals business. As co-founder of 35V, Kleiman has helped build a portfolio of more than 100 early-stage investments spanning sports, technology, finance, and media. Thirty Five Ventures includes Boardroom; an investment portfolio with companies such as Acorns, Coinbase, Dutchie, Overtime, Dapper Labs/NBA Top Shot, Postmates, and OpenSea; a film and television division with projects including the documentary series "In the Water" (Showtime), the Academy Award-winning "Two Distant Strangers" (Netflix), and the scripted series "SWAGGER" (Apple TV+); and a minority stake in Major League Soccer team Philadelphia Union.

As co-founder and CEO of Boardroom, Kleiman leads a company focused on the business of sports, music, and entertainment, with an emphasis on how athletes, executives, musicians, and creators shape the business landscape. Through Boardroom Sports Holdings, Kleiman acquired a minority stake in Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain in partnership with Arctos Sports Partners. Kleiman and Boardroom also partnered with the National Women's Soccer League to form and co-lead its inaugural business advisory board.

Kleiman serves as executive director of the Durant Family Foundation, supporting underserved and low-income families and youth globally. The foundation has partnered with College Track in the Washington, D.C., area and has built or refurbished more than 25 basketball courts worldwide. Kleiman also sits on the board of directors at New Heights Youth, Inc., a nonprofit focused on sports-based youth development and education in New York City. He has appeared at industry forums such as the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference, sharing insights on building a modern sports and media business from an unconventional background.
