Melissa Fumero

Melissa Fumero is an actress and television director known for her work in television comedy, drama, and animation. Fumero graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drama. Her professional acting career began shortly after college with a role on the soap opera "One Life to Live," where she portrayed Adriana Cramer for four years.

Fumero transitioned from drama to comedy with her role as Amy Santiago on the NBC series "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." The series, recognized with a Golden Globe Award, ran for eight seasons and over 150 episodes. Fumero's performance earned her multiple Imagen Award nominations and a win for Best Supporting Actress – Comedy (Television).
