Matt Czuchry

Matt Czuchry is an actor best known for his roles in "The Resident," "The Good Wife," and "Gilmore Girls." Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, he was raised in Johnson City, Tennessee before attending the College of Charleston, where he earned a degree in political science and won the Mr. College of Charleston pageant. Though initially considering law school, he shifted his focus to acting after being encouraged by a professor.

Czuchry gained widespread recognition for playing Logan Huntzberger on "Gilmore Girls" (2005–2007), a role he later reprised in the 2016 revival "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life." He then starred as lawyer Cary Agos in the critically acclaimed CBS drama "The Good Wife" (2009–2016), showcasing his ability to portray complex, morally ambiguous characters. His leading role as Dr. Conrad Hawkins on the medical drama "The Resident" (2018–2023) further solidified his reputation, as the medical drama became a fan favorite over its six-season run. He also starred in "American Horror Story: Delicate."

Beyond television, Czuchry has appeared in films such as "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell" and "Swimming Upstream," and has co-authored a book, "Brothers on Life," with his brother, Mike Czuchry.
