Isla Fisher

Isla Lang Fisher is an Australian actress, voice actress, and author. Born to Scottish parents in Oman, she moved to Australia at age six. She appeared on the children's adventure series Bay Cove and the short-lived soap opera Paradise Beach, before playing Shannon Reed on the soap opera Home and Away. She has since been known for her comedic roles in Scooby-Doo, I Heart Huckabees, Wedding Crashers, Hot Rod, Definitely, Maybe, Confessions of a Shopaholic, Rango, Bachelorette, Rise of the Guardians, and Arrested Development.

In 2013, Fisher starred as Myrtle Wilson in The Great Gatsby and as Henley Reeves in Now You See Me.

Tom Ford's neo-noir thriller Nocturnal Animals in 2016 featured Fisher as the blighted wife of a motorist inside a violent novel written by a recently divorced man. The film was the winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival and was an arthouse success. Fisher also released her third book and first children's novel, "Marge in Charge," revolving around a mischievous babysitter with rainbow hair who tends to bend the rules. Fisher subsequently authored three follow-ups: "Marge and the Pirate Baby," in 2017, "Marge and the Great Train Rescue," also in 2017, and "Marge in Charge and the Stolen Treasure," in 2018.

Fisher starred in the Walt Disney Pictures movie Godmothered, which was released on Disney+. In 2019, she Guest Starred in Season 10, Episode 5 of HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

In 2014 and 2015, Fisher donated her signed shoes for Small Steps Project Celebrity Shoe Auction. In December 2015, Fisher and her husband Baron Cohen donated$500,000 to Save the Children as part of a program to vaccinate children in Northern Syria against measles, and the same amount to the International Rescue Committee also aimed at helping Syrian refugees.
