Eva Longoria

Best known for her role as Gabrielle Solis on the ABC series "Desperate Housewives," Eva Longoria is an award-winning actor, producer, director, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. She is also a committed activist, dedicating her time and talent to the Hispanic and charitable communities. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in "Desperate Housewives" and has earned two Screen Actors Guild Awards, along with a nomination for her role in the Hulu series "Only Murders in the Building" in 2024.

Longoria's extensive list of television acting credits include "Dora and the Lost City of Gold," "BoJack Horseman," "Jane The Virgin," "Empire," "Telenovela," "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," and the fourth season of "Only Murders in the Building." In film, she has appeared in "Over Her Dead Body" with Paul Rudd, "Harsh Times" with Christian Bale, "Overboard" with Anna Faris, and "John Wick" in which she invested. Her television directing credits include "Ashley Garcia: Genius in Love," and she made her feature film directorial debut with "Flamin’ Hot," which earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song.

Longoria is the founder of production company UnbeliEVAble Entertainment, which was acquired by Hyphenate Media Group, co-founded by Longoria, in 2023. She has served as executive producer on the "The Harvest," a documentary focusing on agricultural child labor in America, and on series such as "Devious Maids" and "Telenovela," in which she also starred. The production company renewed its first-look deal with 20th Television in September 2020 and is involved in producing a Spanish-language adaptation of the series "Call My Agent!". In 2025, she released the docuseries "Necaxa" alongside Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, which follows a football team from Aguascalientes, Mexico. Continuing with her involvement in sports, Longoria will host and executive produce the Roku series "NFL Hometown Eats," which combines NFL football and food culture.

As a philanthropist, she founded the Eva Longoria Foundation to help Latinas build better futures for themselves and their families through education and entrepreneurship, as well as Eva's Heroes, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting the special needs community. In 2024, she was granted a $50 million Courage and Civility Award by Jeff Bezos. Longoria has spoken about the Foundation’s work before the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee, the International Labor Organization, at Google Headquarters, the Clinton Global Initiative, Women in the World Texas, and the National Council de la Raza, among others. She is also the National Spokesperson for Padres Contra el Cancer, a nonprofit committed to improving the lives of children with cancer.

A pillar in the Latino community, Longoria sits on the boards of the Mexican American Legal Defense Fund and La Plaza de Cultura y Artes. She served as a National Co-Chair for President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign and as a Co-Chair of the 2013 Presidential Inauguration Committee. In addition to her work in television and film, Longoria has launched a successful fashion line and a perfume brand in 2017, and has been a spokesperson for major brands like L'Oréal Paris and Bebe Sport.

In addition to her bachelor's degree, Longoria received her master’s degree in Chicano Studies from California State University, Northridge in 2013.
