Don Cheadle

Don Cheadle's career in the film and television industry spans over three decades, with notable roles in films such as "Hamburger Hill" (1987), "Colors" (1988), "Devil in a Blue Dress" (1995), "Rosewood" (1997), "Boogie Nights" (1997), "Bulworth" (1998), "Out of Sight" (1998), "Traffic" (2000), "Hotel Rwanda" (2004) for which he was nominated for an Academy Award, and "No Sudden Move" (2021). He is also recognized for his role as James "Rhodey" Rhodes / War Machine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starting with "Iron Man 2" (2010). His television work has earned him Primetime Emmy nominations for roles in "House of Lies" (2012–2016) and "Black Monday" (2019–2021), among others.

Cheadle's work extends beyond acting to include producing and directing. He co-produced "Crash," which won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2005, and directed and starred in the biographical film "Miles Ahead" about jazz musician Miles Davis. He is also a recognized voice actor, having narrated the audiobook "Carry On: Reflections for a New Generation from John Lewis," which earned him a Grammy for Best Spoken Word Album in 2022. Environment Program Goodwill Ambassador in 2010. He is also an executive producer on the documentary series "Vs. Goliath," which aims to amplify stories of communities fighting against the fossil fuel industry.
