David Ortiz

David Ortiz, affectionately known as "Big Papi," is a Baseball Hall of Famer, three-time World Series champion, and one of the most iconic sluggers in Major League Baseball (MLB) history. A Dominican-American designated hitter, Ortiz spent 20 seasons in the majors, including 14 with the Boston Red Sox, where he helped end the franchise's 86-year championship drought by leading the club to World Series titles in 2004, 2007, and 2013. A 10-time All-Star, seven-time Silver Slugger Award winner, and 2013 World Series MVP, Ortiz retired in 2016 with 541 home runs and 1,768 RBIs before earning election to the National Baseball Hall of Fame on the first ballot in 2022.

Since retiring, Ortiz has become one of baseball's most recognizable television personalities, serving as a studio analyst for FOX Sports' MLB coverage. Known for his charisma, humor, and insight, he is a featured member of the network's Emmy Award-winning postseason studio team alongside Kevin Burkhardt, Derek Jeter, and Alex Rodriguez. Ortiz first appeared as a guest analyst during the 2014 World Series before joining FOX full-time in 2018.

Beyond baseball, Ortiz has built a diverse entrepreneurial portfolio. He founded Big Papi Productions, a television and entertainment company behind unscripted projects, including the series "Big Papi Needs a Job." He is also a co-founder of Ozama Rum, launched Ortiz34, a line of youth baseball equipment, and has partnered with numerous global brands throughout his career. In addition, Ortiz established the David Ortiz Children's Fund, a nonprofit organization that has funded life-saving pediatric cardiac surgeries and expanded access to critical heart care for children in both the Dominican Republic and New England.
