Chris Van Vliet

Chris Van Vliet is a four-time Emmy Award-winning television host, entertainment reporter, and content creator with a broadcasting career spanning more than two decades across Canada, the United States, and internationally. Van Vliet began his broadcasting career after graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with an honors degree in communication studies, starting as a news reporter and videographer for CHEX-TV in Peterborough, Ontario. He later moved to Vancouver to work as a host and producer on the entertainment magazine show "969," which aired nationwide on Citytv and Razer, before returning to Ontario to host and produce Sun TV's entertainment show "Inside Jam" and contribute to 99.9 Virgin Radio in Toronto.

Van Vliet has earned multiple Sports Emmy Awards, including Best Host and Best Single Sports Story for his report on Gregory Iron, a professional wrestler from Cleveland who competes despite being born with cerebral palsy. He received a third Sports Emmy Award for Best Host and joined WSVN as the entertainment reporter for the nightly program "Deco Drive." Van Vliet later claimed a fourth Emmy Award for Best Host, accumulating a total of nine nominations throughout his career. He has reported from major events such as the Oscars, Grammys, and Cannes Film Festival for WSVN's "Deco Drive," creating viral moments and engaging interviews with celebrities and athletes.

Van Vliet is a member of the Critics Choice Association and operates a YouTube channel where he interviews celebrities and professional wrestling personalities. He has worked for All Elite Wrestling as a backstage interviewer on "Dynamite" and frequently conducts interviews with wrestlers from national organizations such as WWE, AEW, and TNA for his YouTube channel.
