Chloe Bailey Biography
Chloe Bailey is a singer-songwriter, record producer, and actress, best known as one half of the duo Chloe x Halle, which she formed with her sister, Halle Bailey. The duo gained recognition for their cover of "Pretty Hurts" by Beyoncé and later signed to Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment. Chloe x Halle have released two studio albums, including "Ungodly Hour," which earned Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Urban Contemporary Album in 2019.
Bailey launched her solo career in 2021 with the platinum-certified single "Have Mercy" and released her debut solo album, "In Pieces," in 2023. Influenced by Beyoncé, Kelis, Donna Summer, and Kanye West, her music has charted on the US Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.
She has also acted in films including "The Fighting Temptations," "Let It Shine," "The Georgetown Project," and "Jane," and appeared on the TV series "Grown-ish," performing its theme song "Grown."
Bailey has received nominations from the Soul Train and iHeartRadio Music Awards and won a 2021 Gold Derby Music Award. She continues to perform at major events and remains active in music and acting.
