Charles Melton

Charles Melton is an actor known for his work in television, film, and fashion modeling. After working as a fashion model, Melton transitioned to acting, appearing in guest roles on the television series "Glee" and "American Horror Story: Hotel." His entry into the entertainment industry began after responding to a radio advertisement about acting, which led him to attend a talent showcase in Los Angeles.

Melton gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Reggie Mantle in the CW series "Riverdale." Initially appearing as a recurring character in the second season, Melton became a series regular in the third season and appeared in more than 100 episodes. He has described the experience as a significant training ground, working with over 100 directors throughout the series.

In his first feature film, Melton starred as Daniel Bae in "The Sun Is Also a Star," the adaptation of Nicola Yoon's novel. This role marked him as the first Korean American and Asian American actor to lead a teen romance film from a major Hollywood studio.
