Caroline Blazovsky

Caroline Blazovsky is recognized as America's Healthy Home Expert, known for her work at the intersection of residential environments and human health. Her interest in the field began after developing unexplained allergies, which led her to investigate the role of homes in health conditions. Blazovsky started her career by examining residential mold issues and exploring the relationship between home environments and human health. She later established My Healthy Home, a company offering services such as mold and mycotoxin testing, volatile organic compound analysis, and allergen detection. My Healthy Home was among the first full-service healthy home companies in the private sector.

Blazovsky is a residential environmental consultant with credentials as a certified mold remediator (CMR), indoor air quality specialist (CIE), and environmental allergy consultant (CEAC). She has graduate education in sustainable design and public health and holds the Healthy Homes Specialist credential from the National Environmental Health Association. With over 25 years of experience, Blazovsky has evaluated more than 30,000 residences. Her company collaborates with the public and physicians to diagnose and address poor environmental conditions that may contribute to health issues. She has also designed test kits that provide environmental data to assist physicians in the diagnostic process.

As an entrepreneur, Blazovsky developed DIY home test kits, including "Predict" and "Examinair," to help homeowners assess their homes for toxins and allergens. She is the host and creator of the My Healthy Home Summit, a virtual event focused on health, wellness, and residential environments. Blazovsky also co-hosted "Around the House," a nationally syndicated radio show and podcast, where she and Eric Goranson provided guidance to homeowners and contractors on home improvement projects.

Blazovsky serves as a board member of the Council for Accredited Certification, which develops indoor air quality professional credentialing, and is a committee member, keynote speaker, and scientific contributor for the Indoor Air Quality Association. She played a role in educating the public about indoor environments and their impact on virus transmission. Blazovsky has been recognized as a health and safety expert by AARP. Her company, certified as a green business through Green America, was a finalist for NJBIZ Business of the Year, and she was named one of New Jersey's Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneurs.

She is the author of "The Happy Healthy Home," a book offering tips to homeowners on creating healthier living spaces.
