Camila Mendes is a Brazilian American actress and producer known for her work in television, film, and streaming platforms. Mendes began her career after graduating from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She was cast as Veronica Lodge in The CW's teen drama series "Riverdale," a subversive adaptation of Archie Comics. Mendes portrayed the character across 136 episodes, earning recognition for her performance and winning the Teen Choice Award for Choice Scene Stealer.

Following her success on television, Mendes transitioned to film, taking on supporting roles in "The New Romantic," "The Perfect Date," and "Palm Springs." "Palm Springs" premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was released on Hulu to critical acclaim.
