Jason Jones (born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada as Jason Pierre Jones) is a Canadian comedian known best for his work on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

In 2001, Jones married fellow-future Daily Show correspondent, Samantha Bee. Bee was hired as correspondent for The Daily Show in 2003 . In 2005, Bee left the show for family leave, and Jones stepped in to take her place. During Bee's family leave, Jones won a significant following at The Daily Show, thanks to a few pieces on his new baby daughter, planned communities, and New Jersey slogans. In January of 2006, Bee gave birth to her and Jones' first child, a baby girl named Piper Bee-Jones. When Bee returned to The Daily Show from family leave in March of 2006, Jones had already been promoted from a Contributor to a Correspondent to a Senior Correspondent, which is Bee's same rank on the show. Jones and Bee each continue to appear on the show as Senior Correspondents to this day.

Jones' most notable achievement is his work on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, but he has also appeared as the recurring character of Dominic Scolotte on the Showtime television program Queer as Folk. Jones played Dominic in five episodes of the show's third season in 2003 . Jones also had a recurring role on six episodes of the daytime soap opera As the World Turns in 2004 . Jones has also done various television work with his Canadian sketch comedy troupe The Bobroom, and was the host of Craft Corner Deathmatch on the Style Network in 2005 .

Jones co-wrote, co-starred in, and co-produced the 2004 film, Ham & Cheese, with fellow Bobroom alumnus Mike Beaver; the film was nominated for six Canadian Comedy Awards in 2005. He has also had minor roles in numerous feature films.

Jones starred alongside Don McKellar and Nicole DeBoer in the 2003 film "Public Domain" directed by Kris Lefcoe and produced by Rob Stefaniuk and Jeff Rogers. The film won the audience award at the Beverly Hills Film Festival.

Jones starred as Greg Gregger in Budweiser's short films The Best Man and The Company Man and in some 30-second commercials.

Jones recently has been starring in a series of commercials (first one titled "Oblivious") for rival beer brand Molson Canadian, mockingly portraying the stereotypical unawareness Americans have of Canadian culture.
