|

Mr. Mandelkern was named "Silicon Valley Man of the Year 2001" by the Northern California chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and is recognized as a leading elearning visionary with more than 20 years experience in high technology management, business development and marketing. His work at Stanford Testing Systems led to the development of the world's first web-based learning delivery application, the precursor to Docent Enterprise. Mr. Mandelkern is also the author of numerous articles and has keynoted many industry conferences. He has also been guest editor of Communications of the ACM.
Mr. Mandelkern also founded and served as President of AlmondSeed Software, a provider of UNIX utility software. Previously, Mr. Mandelkern served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Talarian Corporation [NASDAQ: TALR], a supplier of real-time networking middleware and as vice president of business development and international marketing for V.I. Corporation. Mr. Mandelkern has also held various director-level positions with Transensory Devices and Cromemco.
Mr. Mandelkern holds M.S. and B.S. degrees with distinction in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
