Robertson has been an all-time all-star at every level from high school to the National Basketball Association, and remains an international ambassador for the game even years after his retirement. He is a member of the National Basketball Hall of Fame, past President of the Retired NBA Players Association and served for 11 years as President of the NBA Players Association.

He has more than a half-dozen startup ventures to his credit, including the definitive book on basketball fundamentals, "The Art of Basketball."
