Lisa C. Jeffery Biography

Lisa Jeffery is a motivational speaker, consultant, trainer with an international flair.

With a unique background of 20 years experience in nine countries, she brings international insight to her training.. She is experienced in public speaking in both English and French - and teaches unique accent reduction skills... guarantees results! She has held high-energy workshops, keynotes and seminars in the United States, Italy, Greece, France, Monaco, South Africa, Nigeria, Jamaica and the Bahamas.

 

She has a Masters Degree in Business Communication and a MBA in International Marketing from the International University of Monaco.

In 1994, she was selected as a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar, an "Ambassador of Goodwill" to the Principality of Monaco. Her mission was to make speeches throughout Monaco, France, and the U.S. promoting international education, understanding and goodwill. She earned her bachelors degree in Journalism and Communication at Chaminade University, Hawaii and is a graduate of the United States Defense Information School.

 

Lisa is a Native American (Cherokee) and former Captain in the United States Air Force.

She is a published poet and writer, and serves on the Board of Directors of the South Florida Poets and Writers' Forum, a member of the Native American Journalists Association, The Society of Professional Journalists, National Speakers Association, Florida Speakers Association, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

 

She has trained hundreds of Miami-Dade County employees in communication skills and public speaking for two years. Other clients include the Jamaican Employers' Federation, the Jewish Federation, the Nigerian Ministry of Transport, Business Wire International Sales, and Diageo, Inc.

She is an adjunct Communication Professor at Barry University.

 

She is a published poet and writer and the author of a children's book: The Isles of Langerhans, The Magical Kingdom and Diabetes --A Story to Help Children Understand Diabetes.
